We had the pleasure of seeing River and Rail live in our hometown awhile back, and got the bonus pleasure of being able to chat with them about their debut album, “Lovers, Enemies, Always Friends.” We also talked about how they got their name, how they became a duo, and their start that began in R&B. 

 Grace and Alex Fincher are Nashville-based Indie Folk/Americana duo, "River & Rail." 

Possessing a voice equal parts haunting and agile, Grace brandishes a unique, captivating tone. Alex adds plaintive supporting vocals and textural acoustic guitar that weaves between the lines of Grace’s poignant lyrics. 

River & Rail has crafted a rich, yet close sound that leans into storytelling, dynamics, and improvised embellishment.
