In this episode, we take a look at chapters three through five of Heretics of Dune, in which we learn about the harsh discipline at the Bene Gesserit stronghold on Gammu through the eyes of the young Duncan Idaho ghola, get some background on Miles Teg as he recalls being persuaded and/or guilt-tripped and/or manipulated out of a happy retirement of farming, set foot on the Tleilaxu homeworld for the first time and encounter an unexpected returning character, and get a number of surprising insights into the Tleilaxu culture - from their surprisingly religious fanaticism to their leaders' functional immortality to some questionable tidbits about their reproductive habits.
