Today, Alex and Lisa speak to MP, Liam Byrne about his experiences growing up as a child of a parent who drinks too much. Liam is a British Labour Party politician who has been Member of Parliament for Birmingham Hodge Hill since 2004.

He is a very proud Patron of Nacoa. Nacoa does so much for Britain’s 2.6 million children affected by their parents’ drinking. In the months that followed Liams father’s death from alcoholism last year, he talks about Nacoa giving him the strength to try and make sense of his life as the child of an alcoholic.
