Today on God’s Playbook, we journey along the road to Emmaus as we continue the Octave of Easter. The disciples were walking and talking about Jesus, yet they didn’t recognize that He was right beside them—how often do we do the same? Through the breaking of the bread and the opening of the scriptures, their eyes were opened—and so can ours be. Fr. Rico reminds us that God is always near, walking with us through every high and low, and inviting us to recognize His loving presence in both the sacred moments and the everyday ones.
