That’s right friends, your favourite hosts are back to talk a lit­tle hock­ey with Sea­son 7, Episode 1 a lit­tle episode that we’re called THE HALAK, after great Slo­va­kian tendy Jaroslav Halák! Did­n’t he wear #41 you say? Well friend, he sure did — this year we decid­ed that we want­ed to give some of our high num­bered friends their due, so we’re pick­ing up our episode name game where sea­son 6 left off! 

Jaro, or the Halak-Ness Mon­ster as his pals liked to call him played in the show for 18 (!!!) years with 7 dif­fer­ent squads, often play­ing the 1A role in the net­min­der tan­dem, win­ning 2 Jen­nings Tro­phies along the way for his troubles.

Then we shift our focus to the now and talk at great length about your Win­nipeg Jets — the boys in Blue, White and Red start the sea­son this Wednes­day in Edmon­ton and we give you a sea­son pre­view and tell you why Brad Lam­bert isn’t in the open­ing night line­up, but also why you might see him soon­er than later.

And then we go rapid fire in peri­od three as co-host Jared put co-host Tom on the hot seat and gets some pre­dic­tions for the 2024 – 25 season!
