A lot of women tell me how they would really like to journal, workout or drink more water, but they have an problem staying consistent. My response to those women - "I'm sure you're consistent with other things." - and they always seem to understand what I mean.

Often times, we spend our energy negotiating ourselves out of building the habit we are trying to create. You want to take a break from social media, so you say "I'll put my phone down in 5 minutes." An hour later, you're still scrolling.
