The two lore books we got in this release - Constellations and The Pigeon and the Phoenix - are significant texts - the former gives us the most intimate look at the Traveler’s motivations ahead of whatever comes out during the Final Shape and the latter substantially fleshes out some major moments in the history of the Last City and the Vanguard.

I’ve split this episode into 4 sections:

1. The origin of the Speakers and the Last City
2. The origins of Saint-14 and Osiris and their actions before the events of Destiny the game
3. The period of time where Saint-14 was in the Infinite Forest
4. The seasonal story itself.
