Seasonal Anime Checkup OVA

Jared and Anne Ladyem (anneladyem.com) have watched and read the rest of the ReLIFE media that has come out in the two months since our initial episode on the series. We talk about the second half the manga, the four OVA episodes, and the live-action film and which version works or could have been better. Of course since two of these versions have just recently came out, there are spoilers so be careful.

Jared and Anne Ladyem (anneladyem.com) make some jojokes before diving into to an episode full of Makoto being ride or die, Mamoru and Rei having premonitions, birthdays on a mountain, and remembering that consent is extremely important and oh god why does this series keep doing this.

Jared and Anne Ladyem (anneladyem.com) take a long look at a game that was kept somewhat under the radar last year in Tokyo Xanadu eX+. We discuss the multitude of ways the game impressed us, the ways it compares to games in the Persona series, where it would rank in our top ten lists for game of the year retroactively, and how much fun we had in general.

Jared and Anne Ladyem (anneladyem.com) lament the fact that this episode was split up into two episodes, the lack of aggressive violin playing, and riding roller coasters with hats.

Jared and Anne Ladyem (anneladyem.com) have found two games to talk about that are strange in different ways. Jared got an extended look at the Yakuza 6 demo due to strange circumstances that made the full game become unlocked. AL played through the Secret of Mana Remake and we discuss whether or not it was worth remaking the game at all with how Square did it.
