SEASONED

How many times have you watched an old episode of something, listened to an old jam, or even looked at the fashion in your pictures from earlier years and thought; man what a time to be alive. Well that was me the other day. As I was watching one of my old time favorites reuniting on daytime TV... on today's episode join me as I explore with you what God revealed to me when I was deeply reminiscing about the uniqueness of each era. Do you know that just like how each era is so distinct in its uniqueness, music and aesthetics so are you in the purpose in your life? And do you know that even the "bad" seasons of your life have been made beautiful in their own time. so will your future seasons. I dare you to stop crying over what was, stretch to what will be. I dare you to be you and have future generations reminisce and remember your life in times to come.

Focal Scripture

Ecclesiastes 3:11

11 Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.

Hey huns...so this is just an extra episode where God spoke to me and said you have to stop looking there to have it or to be it and look here (that is within you, within your lane). What's with all the here and there? God said you have to be the thing you are looking for. You have to create the opportunity, close the gap and address the injustice you see in your life. How many of us are looking from season to season for the things we desire. Well God said this time you have to be the thing you are waiting for ? Honey listen to me, you are the purpose in your pain...God and you, nobody else dear. Not even that man or child you love so much.

May the Lord lead us this week in a heart to heart and further dissection into Ezekiel 22:30, just God and His leading. Be blessed

Prayer for this week

Lord we Thank You for a double episode, we see that truly you have more than our cup has to receive. Lord what am I really even looking for that I cannot find in You? Help me Lord to be ultimately what You are looking for. I believe the Bible says "I looked for a man to stand in the gap and I found none". God you became what you searched the whole world and found none to be.And you sent Jesus to stand in that gap on the Cross for me. Thank you God that what I am seeking for You have already made me to be Oh Lord let it be activated inside of me in Jesus Christ Mighty Name. Amen

What's going on huns...are we eating those wholegrain chips though? How about those yearly resolutions, what is up with that huh ?Happy new month, happy half way mark. No need to despair about those weight loss goals ok! cough, cough....i digress. Listen to this; God is after our people pleasing tendencies this week as we focus on Galatians 2:13 (please start from verse 11). Look honey it's 1 am when I am publishing this and my stomach is growling so i need to be straight. Your people pleasing may be having more bearing on the destinies, eternities and lives of others than you may think. You thought this life was just about charting your own people's pleasing course. No honey...this half of the year we are going to need the bold, no nonsense, no shrinking you, God fearing and obedient despite all the odds, versions of you..Father Lord I decree and declare it is so in Jesus Christ Mighty Name.Amen

This weeks prayer

Heavenly Father in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I pray for the listener tuned into you speaking through my voice, Lord I speak a healing an inner healing God that would offset all people pleasing tendencies in their life. Lord I speak eternal and internal healing wholeness and growth that will lead to spirit filled and not self- filled and worldly defined authenticity. Lord let this be to the eternal Glory of Your Name Jesus Christ. We decree and declare, we pray in the Name above all names, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I pray. Amen

Focal scripture

Galatians 2: 13 (nlt) As a result, other Jewish believers followed Peter’s hypocrisy, and even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy.

Take a leaf from Apostle Paul

Galatians 1:10 (nlt) Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.

Ain't nobody got time for people pleasing if Apostle Paul didn't have time...well then my dear gal, how much more with you?

Tune into the episode for this weeks exercise... :)

Look at this, have you ever picked up a bag of whole grain chips and actually wished you were eating potato chips, extra crispy or extra fried.? Honey...if that wasn't me the other day. How many times in our lives do we reach out or go out on a limb to try something that will be healthy, progressive and beneficial for our lives. But be rudely awakened to the undesirable amount of effort required? As if life is not life-ing already.

How about this? How about when we actually apply ourselves to achieving the dream or stretch towards the mark of the high calling but backslide? Well God has an answer for you today. God is saying the answer to your prayer. Listen, the answer to your dream going beyond your mind and heart is not just declaring and affirming it. It is discipline. Now there is a D word we don't like (do not act holier than the pope I meant dessert OK). You have sowed, you have tithed, you have even selflessly served others but honey where is the discipline ?. Come on now it's halfway in 2024, let the Will of God manifest something in your life.

Join me this week as we explore Hebrew 12:11-12 and lets see how God leads us back into discipline and into the hearts desires of our lives and God's desire for our lives. In Jesus Christ Mighty Name.

Prayer for this week

Oh Lord My God My Father My Creator help me to see your desired discipline and its peaceful harvests in every area of my life. Touch those who are supposed to be around me to encourage me as you instill divine disciplines and their fruits in me. Touch those who are supposed to be benefit from me (verse 13) to be divinely connected to me by Your divine will and plans Lord.Lord I pray that as you do so it will bring ultimate Glory to Your Name in Jesus Christ Mighty Name. Amen

Have you lost your inner salt? Have you lost that inner light you used to have. Join me this week as we go further into Matthew 15:13-16. With journalling prompts,God is giving us a clarion call to lean back into those areas where we once found light. Where we were once the salt and the flavor in our friendship and life circles. In this week's episode God through His word guides and instructs us how to use gleanings (leftovers) to go back and lean into the core of those radiant and happy versions of who we once were. And moreover what He is presenting for us to be.

How many times in your life do you make excuses not to do or start what God has called you to do just because you don't have it all complete? Are you delaying your destiny? In this episode join me as I dissect how God called me to start a ministry and podcast with a microphone from the 99c store.
