Here in the PNW, the signs of fall typically come early, but today marks the season’s official beginning in the Northern Hemisphere. To welcome this turning, I’ve adapted my Seasonal Examen as a gentle and intentional way to enter the season ahead.
This guided examen offers space to breathe, look back on the season you are leaving, and move into the fall supported by this past season and attending to whatever newness is emerging.
You do not need to answer every prompt, and I invite you to pause the practice to linger in various moments that resonate. Find a comfortable place, press play, and allow your attention to rest with what feels most alive, tender, resistant, or in need of care.
This is the first audio practice from Seasoned with Story, a collection of brief contemplative moments for listening to your life and noticing the sacred in the ordinary.
