Tyler Bell spurns the Rays and heads to Kentucky.

Colby Shelton returns to Florida rather than go pro.

JUCO catcher Mac Rose commits to Vandy after drafted by Rangers with the last pick of the 2024 MLB Draft.

Kentucky lands more transfers, including Dylan Koontz (talented Campbell hitter), Luke Lawrence (Illinois St) and Oliver Boone (Cal reliever).

Alabama continues to add talent in the portal, including Packy Bradley Cooney (Campbell) and Carson Ozmer (Penn) as well as big lineup names like Justin Torres (Miami) and Brady Neal (LSU) to replace Mac Guscette (signed with Atlanta).

Auburn adds talented-but-underutlized outfielder Jett Johnston (Texas A&M) as well as pitcher Sam Dutton (LSU) and Lucas Steele (Samford).

Texas will participate in the Las Vegas College Baseball Classic on Mar. 1-3 against Texas Tech, Washington and Illinois.

Alabama is in the Jacksonville College Baseball Classic on Feb. 21-3 against Ohio State, Coastal Carolina and NC State.
