SEC schools got a number of commitments and players who were selected by MLB teams through the draft. Key players included Ryan Prager (Texas A&M); Colby Shelton (Florida); Hunter Elliott and Connor Spencer (Ole Miss); Connor Gatwood, D’Marion Terrell and Chase Fralick (Auburn commits); Erik Parker (Georgia commit); and Tyler Bell (Kentucky).

We’re seeing prospect lists forming for the 2025 MLB Draft, and there’s a heavy SEC presence on those lists.
