We’re nearly halfway through 2023, so we’re taking a look back at the first few months of the year and picking our favorite albums so far. Nearly every week in 2023 has seemed like the new releases were a letdown with the upper echelon of stars not dropping as often as we’ve seen in the past few years, but has it still been a good year so far? These tracks are turning ten years old this year and we’re each picking five tracks to keep from a pool of twenty of the biggest songs of that summer. From familiar favorites to new releases, this playlist is perfect for all the vibes and activities that Summer can feature. We also talk about the recent releases including IDK, Lil Durk & J. Cole, Chase B with Travis Scott, Quavo, Don Toliver, and Ty Dolla $ign.

With Coachella weekend two wrapping up, it’s officially music festival season, so that means an updated version of the Festival Lineup $15 Challenge. We each have $15 to choose artists ranging from $1 to $5 each and create their perfect festival lineup. We also discuss Frank Ocean’s Coachella performance, Metro Boomin & Future’s potential collab album, and this week’s new music releases.

Inspired by the TikTok trend, for this week’s episode, we’ve each picked 50 artists, songs, and albums for each other to shuffle and rank without knowing what will come next. We also talk about the past two week’s releases including Daniel Caesar, Drake, Kaytraminé, and Ice Spice. Lastly, we discuss the Rolling Loud Miami and Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash lineup, as well as our thoughts on weekend one of Coachella.
