Everyone has a past and deals with guilt and shame. We've all broken God's commandments and His laws. Shame makes us feel humiliated, unworthy and unacceptable. Shame seeps into our soul because of something that we've done or something that's been done to us. So what do we do with this shame? We go to Galatians and find out that what Christ did is greater than what anyone has done. That's the gospel. Only His grace rescues us from guilt and that haunting sense of shame.
We're all searching for something - meaning, freedom, a sense of connection. What if God would give us something concise that would summarize almost everything that He has for us? He did - in the Book of Galatians - the microchip of the entire word of God. When it comes to understanding Who God is and His grace and plan for our life, we want to make Galatians, this microchip, our “go-to” source for reliable life-changing information.
Death can come at any time and rip future chapters out of someone's life. When we embrace that reality rather than denying it, it can give us the passion to make better choices in our life right now. Though Christ had to die for us, His resurrection proves we do not have to fear death or the future because we know Who has won the ultimate victory and empowers us today.
What does God have in store for us beyond this life? It’s one of life’s biggest questions, and Scripture gives us a surprising picture of what lies ahead. The resurrection promises more than life after death—it points toward a renewed, transformed existence where weakness and decay no longer have the final word. That future hope can change the way we see ourselves, care for our bodies, and live the life God has given us today.
Every meaningful goal eventually encounters resistance. The moment you decide to change, break an old pattern, pursue something worthwhile, or follow God more intentionally, something seems to push back. Paul described his own resistance as fighting “wild beasts,” yet he kept moving because he knew what he was ultimately pursuing. A life centered on knowing Christ gives us something greater to strive for—and a purpose worth fighting through the obstacles for.
One decision can change more than we realize. Scripture traces the brokenness of the world back to one act of rebellion—but it also points to another choice that changed everything: Jesus surrendering to the Father, going to the cross, and rising again. The resurrection means sin, suffering, and even death will not have the final word. God has already begun making things new, and that future hope gives us strength to live differently today.
When we trust in Christ as our Savior, we become resurrection people because we believe God brings dead things back to life. His forgiveness of the wrong things we’ve done gives us a fresh start, a new identity and power to face life’s challenges. Is it time for you to reach out to the Savior who loves you enough to die for you and make a fresh start?
Sometimes storms hit our life, perhaps some we've created and we hit rock bottom - the lowest point in our life. All hope is gone with no way to recover and move on. But paradoxically, hitting rock bottom can be a catalyst for the need for radical change. When we turn our life over to the grace of God, we will find His power that pulls us up and gives us new purpose.
