Second Best Picture

The boys continue their dive into 1997’s Best Picture nominees and box office giants with a trip to the seedy streets of L.A. Confidential. Brandon and Kyle dig into the film’s tangled web of cops, corruption, and celebrity scandal to decide if this really is a neo-noir masterpiece or just an empty trench coat. Pour a scotch, grab your press pass, and get money to bribe the watch commander because we're heading to the City of Angels. L.A. Confidential stars Russell Crowe, Guy Pearce, Kim Basinger, Kevin Spacey, and Danny DeVito; directed by Curtis Hanson.
