I would recommend - the narrator drew me in, and made me want to follow the story to its finish.

If I had to make a comparison, it would be to Anne Tyler's work. Johnny Payne spins a story around the mundane, every-day, minutia of life.

Adrianne Cury makes even passable prose compelling. This is an audiobook that you want to listen to, not just have as background while driving.
