In this episode, we will discuss attracting more video views by practicing the law of attraction.  You may have heard about the law of attraction regarding attracting the kind of clients you want to work with...and a big part of content marketing IS attracting the right clients.

In this context, as one of the universal laws of video engagement, Attraction does not describe how you look; it's how you Appear.

Our biggest fear is that we look or sound dumb on video.  That's hogwash....excuse my barnyard vernacular here.  

If you are a successful loan officer today, you have face-to-face interactions with your clients and other people all day.  If you are the same person in person as you are on video - you will have the same success as you would have if you were face-to-face with your client.

The key to attracting video views and, more importantly, keeping them watching is to come across as confident.  When you come across as confident, you are more trustworthy. When you are trustworthy, you have an opportunity to earn their trust.  When you earn their trust, you can earn their business.  

The secret?  Practice.  It's really that simple.  When you practice, you become more confident.  When you are confident, it makes your viewer more comfortable.  When your viewer is comfortable with you, they will listen to you.

I wanted to start this channel with a set of 3 "foundation" videos.  This is basically to help you, presumably, a mortgage loan officer, understand where I'm coming from with this information, why I think this way, how I know it works, and how I can help you shorten the learning curve.  

With over 20 years of experience as a loan originator, I am now showing other guideline geeks, like myself, how to tap into the most significant demographic of mortgage lead opportunities available today, consumers going online with questions about qualifying for a mortgage.  

I learned early in my career that a consumer's options are limited to the experience and effort of the "loan officer" that ends up with their lead.  This video is about my "Why."  Why I latched on to this business channel early in my career, and why I took it online with the result of helping over 3 million consumers with second opinions since 2010.
