  • Cheaters' Club

Cheating is universally practised and simultaneously, universally condemned. It’s an experience that so many of us share in one way or another - we're either the one who gets cheated on or the one who gets cheated with, or the one who does the cheating.

In this episode, Azandria & Madonna chat about their experiences of getting cheated on and what it was like for them to let go of the relationship and move on.

One of the legacies of toxic parents is another generation of toxic parents. But, there is something else they can leave – an opportunity to rise above all of it and parent in ways that are more open, more informed, more loving and richer for the wisdom and insight that is fuelled by your history. In this episode, Azandria & Madonna have a discussion with Craig Sterling, a father to 7 boys whose own childhood was riddled with absent parents and emotional and physical abuse. He shares how he was determined to break the mould and not have his children experience the same toxic parenting that he had.

  • No, It's Not Love: Understanding Domestic Violence & How To Get Out of an Abusive Relationship

Domestic violence is a pattern of coercive, controlling behaviour that can include physical abuse, emotional or psychological abuse, verbal abuse, sexual abuse or financial abuse, and any other behaviour to establish power and control. Domestic violence is pervasive and affects millions of individuals globally regardless of age, economic status, race, religion, education, gender, sexual orientation or any other identity. Abusers make it very difficult for victims to escape relationships through tactics including threats of increased violence, using children, or financial control. The outcome of these barriers means that on average, it takes a survivor 6-8 attempts to leave a relationship before they are able to. It’s important for survivors to know that the abuse is not their fault, and they are not alone.
