Jan’s story is not an easy one to hear but it’s important to tell, to help others that have gone and will go through similar life events. Jan earned her Ph.D. in psychology, opened her own practice then everything changed when her husband of 11 years was murdered.  The media and press hounded her for years, the trials and convictions followed and when all was done she was left alone to start over with the immense burden of what she had just gone through.   

Amani is a professor at California State University, he is in the process of completing his master’s degree from Berklee College of Music and is a DJ / Music Producer having worked with the likes of Usher, Sade, and Brandy just to name to name a few.

Cassady started her career in corporate accounting.  She was a derivative accountant and did 10k reporting for one of the largest energy companies in the US.  She now has a commercial photography business with 2 locations and is in the process of licensing it out across the country.

Susan’s first scene is as a speech pathologist.  She earned a doctorate. Researched Alzheimer's disease.  Was an adjunct professor for 8 years at Teachers College, Columbia University., and was a  consultant to the NYC Alzheimer's Association. She is also an award winning comedy writer.  Her two books are How old am I in dog years? And How to complain when there is nothing to complain about.
