In this episode of the Second Success Podcast, Dr Rakish Rana talks with health & human optimization champion, Tedx speaker, and best-selling author of Thrive State; Dr Kien Vuu.
Doctor Vuu (Doctor V) envisions a world full of healthy humans who are fully contributing their gifts to humanity with vibrant health and vitality. His vision not only stems from the miraculous recoveries he has witnessed as a physician but from overcoming chronic disease himself.
Doctor V immigrated to the United States from Vietnam. His initial encounter with illness was as an infant boat refugee in the Philippines when he nearly died of dysentery. After surviving 8 months on a boat and another 3 months in a Philippine refugee camp, he arrived in the U.S. with his parents with no money. Overcoming poverty and racism, he became a “successful” physician. However, at the pinnacle of his “success,” he became overweight and developed hypertension, diabetes, and was on several prescription medications. There was a life-changing moment when one of his patients reminded him of the gift of life and the power of choice which put him on the path of healing himself.
Once a minimally invasive surgeon, he is now passionate health & human optimization champion, Tedx speaker, and best-selling author of Thrive State; Your Blueprint for Optimal Health, Longevity and Peak Performance.
As one of the most sought-after anti-aging physicians in the country, Doctor V regularly works with celebrities, executives, and organization to optimize their health, performance and vitality, so that they can serve with purpose at their highest potential. Doctor V enthusiastically shares his message on national TV shows such as The Doctors and Access Hollywood, keynote stages such as Whole Foods and the Biohacking Conference, as well as with the next generation of physicians as assistant clinical professor at UCLA.

In this episode of the Second Success Podcast, Dr Rakish Rana talks with entrepreneur, founder and MD of Exclsuively Connect, Graham Davies.
After starting life as a commercial photographer, Graham started a creative journey that expanded into design, marketing, events and experiential marketing. After building an agency for 25 years, Graham went on to form Exclusively Connect in 2011.
Graham has a deep-rooted belief in the power of partnerships to achieve business growth. Working solely in the luxury lifestyle and financial services sectors, Graham believes that now more than ever in these challenging times that companies should form alliances and strategic marketing partnerships to work together, rather than working in isolation.
The idea of Collaborative Marketing started when faced with a challenge to help a small specialist audio visual company with big ambitions and small budgets become the leading private cinema distributor in the UK. Rather than simply pushing advertising messages out across select marketing channels, Graham decided it would be more strategic to develop a partner group that was in the same space with the same demographic clients and the same ambitions. This was easier said than done as it takes time to develop quality relationships to align objectives with other companies but fast forward to the present day and that small AV company is now the market leader in their field.
Exclusively Connect has moved on and is now the UK’s leading provider of Collaborative Marketing services working across the luxury sector and from world class hotels to fashion, jewellery, private aviation, luxury homes and classic cars. Exclusively Connect has also built a portfolio of luxury lifestyle events of which The Elite London, the UK’s largest jet-set lifestyle event is one such event and that too is also the result of a very successful partnership.
Let’s hear from Graham about his journey from budding photographer to entrepreneur!!

In this episode of the Second Success Podcast, Dr Rakish Rana talks with entrepreneur and brand specialist, Saisha Singh.
Saisha is a highly motivated and self-driven entrepreneur commended for her values of discipline, integrity and passion and has enthusiastically immersed herself in the launch and development of several brands in the spirits category. Having grown up within a family background in the wines & spirits industry, she has always been inspired by the finer details of each product and this has led her to become fully immersed in this industry that she thrives in.
In 2014, Saisha embarked on a Masters degree programme at Warwick University with the intention to grow and develop, both personally and professionally. In what turned out to be a fulfilling curriculum, she discovered her love for brands and was particularly interested in further exploring the dynamics behind brand growth and success. With further thought and reflection as to where her unique ideas and creativity could be cultured, she undertook her thesis on the subject of how brand extensions can be successfully created. On the back of finding out that “84% of brand extensions fail,” she focused on developing a new brand extension framework as guidance and support to encourage companies to work as an integrated system. In doing so, this would promote interconnectedness between functions to promote the flow of knowledge and in turn, enhance processes and activities. An outcome that could realistically be expected would be a reduction in extension failure, accomplish sustainable success and journey towards organisational excellence.
This opportunity cut a clear path for Saisha to integrate her knowledge in her family business.
As a seeker of knowledge, Saisha has been driven by her inspiration and passion to explore and understand the nature and dynamic shifts within the Drinks Industry.
This commenced with the launch of an award-winning brand, Laplandia Vodka in the UK. Along with this launch, she was a key contributor in taking the brand to 21 different countries.
Saisha has always been committed to achieving excellence through her constant dedication to exploring new ideas and concepts, which can be grounded into practical processes to achieve desired results.
With her burning passion for brand development, Saisha continues to add to her portfolio by acquiring and developing new brands. She continues to use utilise her knowledge, experience and emotional intelligence to find the most effective ways to primarily engage consumers and secondarily, build an emotional connection between the brand and the consumer.
Let’s hear from Saisha on how she entered into the family business, and why being postive has been key for her success!!
