Lv: Rudens sauca zelta koku lapas un vējš vēja pāri iekšpagalmam, pāršaujot tos pāri aukstajām skolas koridoriem.
En: Autumn called the golden tree leaves, and the wind swept across the courtyard, shooting them across the cold school corridors.

Lv: Alvim, Martei un Kasparam bija ekskursija.
En: Alvis, Marte, and Kaspars had a field trip.

Lv: Viņi devās uz vēsturisku pili, kas slēpās tālumā, kā klusa noslēpumu vēstniece.
En: They went to a historic castle, which lay hidden in the distance, like a quiet ambassador of secrets.
