Sl: Mateja in njen brat Gregor sta stala pred ruševinami Predjamskega gradu.
En: Mateja and her brother Gregor stood before the ruins of the Predjamski grad.

Sl: Bil je pomladni dan.
En: It was a spring day.

Sl: Sončni žarki so sijali skozi oblake in razkrili čudeže starodavnega gradu.
En: The sun's rays shone through the clouds, revealing the wonders of the ancient castle.

Sl: Mateja, navdušena nad zgodovino, je samo opazovala in držala seznam spominkov, ki jih želi imeti doma.
En: Mateja, enthusiastic about history, just watched and held a list of souvenirs she wanted to have at home.

Sl: Gregor pa je bil bolj zainteresiran za razkrivanje zgodb za temi stenami.

Sl: Gregor je zavzdihnil: "To je bolj zanimivo kot kateri koli spominek iz trgovine.
En: Gregor sighed, "This is more interesting than any souvenir from the store."

Sl: " Mateja se je približala in skrbno preverila enega od kamnov.
En: Mateja approached and carefully examined one of the stones.
