"Paty Pat" was born in Switzerland in 1980 as Patrick Steger. His passion for the music began in the electronic 90s listening to Detroit techno and Chicago style. As a result, these two became the most important influences for his music.

Patrick works in the historic Orlando Voorn's label Nightvision and he's an active member of the Minimal Detroit Crew, but his work doesn't finish there, he's an old school dj and a pure vinyl lover. His mixes are the perfect example of the classic techno sessions which have that historical and well-known vinyl sound.

As a producer, he's basically on the same line, with those hypnotic detroit techno rhythms from the 90s and 2000s which can make you dance and don't let you scape from the dance floor. Well, you know what the 909 ride can do.

So we are really proud to say that this is not the last mix from this cool guy, in fact, this is only the part I. Paty Pat is too good to let him scape.

Alberto Gray Fox is a Spanish DJ, promoter, collaborator in Electromagnética Radio, active member of the group Tech-Factory and a music expert. He handles a huge spectrum of electronic styles; from techno to jungle, via idm, house or electro.

His good taste and discretion have made possible the organization of underground events within their groups, taking place in club and raves. Actually, in one of the latest meetings with his teammates Irazu Erszebet and Hiroshi Tanaka, they invited the French artist Voiski to Madrid as a special guest.

As a committed and concerned person about the music, Alberto is not only focused on making great quality events, but also he teaches a small piece of his large musical knowledge in Electromagnética Radio, one of its oldest collaborators and making an awesome job approaching the electronic music to the people.

Definitely, Gray Fox is a guy who loves music and is concerned about that on each of its different facets.

The Asturian disc jockey Julia Pé (Spain) is one of the most recognized figures in the spanish underground electro circuit.

She is a member of groups like Antizero, Aztlán and Mision115 and a regular contributor to Intergalactic FM, but her work doesn't finish there, Julia has also mixed different podcasts for Bass Agenda and Clubbingspain, and she has exposed her art inside and outside our borders, always through the electro underground spirit.

Her sessions are made in black, same as her records because she is an advocate of physical format. They have strong electro sound with brushstrokes of techno and dark and gloomy atmospheres.

Isaiah (ID-YA) Watts is a producer/rapper, who was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico (USA).

He began making music in 2007 with his fellow rapper/producer Derick Moyer and in 2012 he started making beats.

By his own words, "I was inspired by artists like Curren$y, Nas, Ab-Soul, Kendrick lamar and producers like J-Dilla, 9th Wonder, Harry Fraud, and Hit Boy", and all these influences have served to cook a very nice product through a blend of styles always connected by an electronic link.

Smooth waves, voices from heaven with dope reverbs and deep rhythm with cool breaks of drums beyond the standard marked by the classic hip hop are going to make you chill.

New World became one of the most legendary clubs of the history of Madrid in the early 90s thanks to their after hours sets, where a young Oscar Mulero began to release his musical knowledge in front of the dance hall. He was surrounded by his mate Yke, together, they created their famous sets which became an indisputable reference in those days; nowadays, they are still remembered because of their generous musical style.

EBM, New Beat, Synth Pop and Postpunk were combined in this space, where the urban tribes enjoyed in harmony and musical magnetism.

This set aims to give a small tribute to several songs of those years, celebrating the freshness and charisma of many of them. It also tries to make people feel that nostalgic time, and for the people who come in contact

with this music for the first time, they should listen to the infinite musical universe, in which the purity was pretended to be the music of the future.

Now you probably wonder why we did not mention the creator of this podcast, but this is the first time it happens to us. The set is signed by Eugene Tooms, the only thing we know about him is the science fiction character from the X-Files series and his fantastic taste in music selection and talent with the accuracy and professionalism of dijing.

Iván Corrochano is one of the most versatile DJs in Madrid, with a long experience after 20 years behind the decks, working on the radio and the music business.

Currently, his work is focused on leading the spanish office of one of the most important distributors of digital music in Germany, dig dis!

As a DJ, he has been developing a long career in the most famous clubs in Madrid and surroundings. Nowadays, he is still working on a different range of great styles such as 80s, Ebm, Acid-house, Techno or Trance. For his daily techno and house sets, he is also known as “DYCA”.

He is an absolutely supporter of the Roland Tb-303 sound who loves searching music on vinyl, and adding more classics to his extensive collection.

For this Podcast, Iván is offering us a non-common set where everything comes from the oldest vinyls, some of them more than 25 years old. Vintage sounds of the first drum machines, awesome basslines and playful sampling. He creates a tour from the Electro and New Beat to sounds of Chicago and Detroit. It becomes more acid in the second half, being mixed with the most accurate technic and handling which it deserves. Enjoy!

Zobol es el alter ego del joven artista multidisciplinar y músico electrónico Jon Chmielewski, que con tan solo 21 años ha logrado desarrollar un producto musical de primerísima calidad inspirado en ritmos electro a partir de funk, soul, blues, jazz o avant-garde y totems como Drexciya o Juan Atkins.

Muy ligado a la música de Chicago y Detroit, sobretodo la segunda, Jon procede de la no menos mítica Birmingham (Reino Unido), continuando así con el imponente legado de músicos electrónicos que ha dado la ciudad metropolitana.

A pesar de su corta edad Jon es un gran amante de los sintetizadores análogos clásicos, teniendo en su poder míticos como el MS-20, Poly800 y Monotron Delay de Korg además de un Yamaha Psr38.

El 21 de este diciembre de 2014 Zobol publicará 'Dystopia EP' por el sello francés Goldmin Music.

Atemp es la pareja artística compuesta por Pablo G. y Arantza J. que, desde Barcelona, han creado este ente que desarrolla multitud de facetas artísticas, desde diseño gráfico hasta su labor como disc-jockeys.

Todo el mundo de Atemp gira entorno a una estética oscura postapocalíptica de entreguerras del siglo XX e Industrial con influencias góticas y post-punk. Tanto su producción visual como la músical se encuentra cuidada al máximo, teniendo cada detalle un elaborado trabajo que crea un binomio irrompible entre ambas facetas y que crea una imagen muy potente y fácilmente reconocible.

Pablo y Arantza son grandes amantes del formato clásico de vinilo y cuentan con una gran colección, pero a la hora de mezclar prefieren trabajar con su versión digital aún guardando su copia física. Su nombre bien claro lo dice, son una pareja atemporal que no se priva de mezclar novedades con clásicos. Comentan que muchas de las piezas de su colección se tratan de cesiones de amigos y familiares. Ellos mismos se definen como "oscuritos musicales y cañeros", "nos gusta el italo, minimal ochentero, el synthpop, la darkwave, el industrial, el noise, el techno, etc. En fin le damos un poco a todo, pero para los podcast si que cuidamos mucho el tracklist y muchas de las canciones que tenemos nos han acompañado en momentos de nuestra vida y parecen conformar la bso de nuestra vida".

Así, esta pareja que nació de feedbacks musicales entre ellos llevó a lo que hoy en día es Atemp; y con esta historia y esa filosofía de trabajo era inevitable que no firmasen un capítulo de SECUENCIA X FRIENDS.
