En esta ocasión, la videoconferencia estará a cargo de Iván Antezana Quiroz y se titulará “¿Existió Jesús? ¿Tiene sentido debatirlo?”. Iván Antezana Quiroz, Director de la Sociedad Secular Humanista del Perú, posee una amplia experiencia en la investigación de la historicidad de Jesús.
En esta nueva entrega de Café Humanista contamos con la participación del sociólogo Francisco Durand Arp Nissen y se titulará “La captura corporativa del Estado: teoría y aplicación al caso peruano”.
En esta ocasión contamos con la participación del abogado y ex Congresista de la República Víctor Andrés García Belaunde, quien dio una ponencia sobre Odebrecht y el escándalo de corrupción que azotó América Latina. El ex Congresista fue miembro de la Comisión Lava Jato.
Con motivo de Fiestas Patrias, la Sociedad Secular Humanista del Perú en coordinación con la Manzana Escéptica y el IET - Extrapolítica y Transhumanismo y con el auspicio de la Humanists International organizó la conferencia "Visiones de la Independencia en los historiadores peruanos del siglo XIX" que dictará el profesor y doctor en historia José de la Puente Brunke. José de la Puente Brunke es licenciado y doctor en Historia y Geografía, se desempeña como profesor de la PONTIFICIA UNIVERSIDAD CATOLICA DEL PERU y es autor de diversas investigaciones y libros sobre el virreinato del Perú. Café Humaniste es un programa creado por Humanists International en el 2017 (antes IHEU). Consiste en una serie de eventos en los que los participantes charlan, debaten o exponen sobre diversos temas mientras comparten algo de comer o tomar. Ahora, debido a la cuarentena, el Café Humaniste se actualiza y gira hacia un formato en línea.
En esta ocasión contaremos con la presencia del reconocido físico de partículas, divulgador y autor mexicano Gerardo Herrera Corral. Es profesor titular del Departamento de Física del Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del Instituto Politécnico Nacional. También colabora en ALICE (A Large Ion Collider Experiment), uno de los cuatro experimentos más importantes del Gran Colisionador de Hadrones (LHC), en Ginebra, Suiza.
En esta ocasión el conocido filósofo y periodista peruano Fernando Carvallo nos brindó una exposición sobre la Ilustración, su historia, sus ideas y su influencia en las sociedades modernas. También ahondará en la relación de este proyecto filosófico con el Estado laico. Fernando Carvallo es licenciado en filosofía por la Pontifica Universidad Católica del Perú. Magíster de estudios latinoamericanos en la Universidad de Berlín y Magisterio de historia en la Universidad de París. Ha enseñado filosofía en la Universidad Católica y cultura latinoamericana en la Universidad de París. Ha sido periodista de Radio Francia Internacional. Ha representado al Perú ante el Consejo Ejecutivo de la UNESCO. Actualmente es periodista en Radio Programas del Perú.
En esta ocasión contamos con la presencia del filósofo y docente venezolano Gabriel Andrade, sociólogo, Magister y PhD por la Universidad de Zulia, Venezuela. Gabriel Andrade es autor de los libros “El posmodernismo ¡Vaya Timo!” y “Jesucristo ¡Vaya Timo!”, quien expondrá sobre el “Posmodernismo”, una escuela filosófica que ha generado mucha controversia en la academia, sobre todo por su enemistad con la ciencia, su oposición a la Ilustración y el rechazo al mundo occidental y a la globalización.
Cuarta entrega de las Charlas Humanistas, esta vez con el auspicio de la Humanists International. En esta ocasión contamos con la presencia del profesor y biólogo mexicano Antonio Lazcano, egresado de licenciatura y doctorado en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Ha trabajado también como profesor residente y científico visitante en Francia, en la Universidad de Orsay París-Sud, en el Instituto Pasteur de París, en las universidades de Alicante, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, la Universidad de Valencia, en la Universidad de La Habana, en Italia en la Universidad de Roma, en Suiza en la ETH Zentrum de Zúrich, Rusia y en la Universidad de California en San Diego. Además ha pertenecido a varios comités de asesoría de organizaciones científicas como la NASA, en donde fue miembro del Instituto de Astrobiología de la NASA.
En esta tercera videoconferencia de la Sociedad Secular Humanista del Perú conversamos sobre los tratamientos disponibles para el COVID-19 y el Ensayo Solidarity. Tuvimos como expositora a la exministra de salud del Perú Patricia García, Médico Cirujano por la Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (1988), Magíster en Salud Pública con mención en Epidemiologia por la University of Washington-Seattle, EE.UU. (1996-1998), Doctorado en Medicina por la Universidad Cayetano Heredia (2011). Becario del IARTP (International AIDS Research Program), con especial entrenamiento de enfermedades de Transmisión Sexual y SIDA. En 1981 obtuvo el Premio Cecilia Giribaldi a la mejor investigación, y en 1997 recibió el premio Marco A. Aguayo de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS).
En esta segunda videoconferencia de la Sociedad Secular Humanista del Perú conversamos sobre una propuesta para diseñar la arquitectura digital del Estado Peruano. Tuvimos como expositor a Ernesto Cuadros ingeniero de sistemas, Doctor en Information Retrieval Inteligencia Artificial y Magister en Neural Networks por la Universidad de Sao Paulo Brasil.
