Sam has been an inspiration in the Mornington Peninsula community, in particular walking with ‘at risk’ kids in the Mornington Park region. Feeling so overwhelmed at the need for positive affirming relationships being established, Sam, along with his wife Cherie and a number of friends, decided to move from Mount Martha to Tanti, a disadvantaged area on the peninsula, to open up his home and his life to the youth and families of the area. He has mobilised many adults to engage with young people, either through the School’s Ministry or via the Jigsaw Ministry attached to the New Peninsula Church.
