As Jesus had now begun to prepare His disciples for His upcoming sacrifice, He took three of the men with Him up to the top of Mt. Miron to experience the visage of His glorified self. Peter responded by expressing his desire to erect three tents for Christ, Moses, and Elijah and live with them in this moment of glory. His earnest desire is that of all true disciples, yet we must realize that the true path to glory always goes by way of suffering on the cross.
