It’s been a long time coming. I finally started using my Kindle again after I sent my Galaxy Tab off for repair. These are my first impressions after a long time of inactivity. I describe the gestures, which copy both Apple and Android, and also describe the tablet and give an overview of the software.

In January of 2020, I started working out more. This episode begins with a discussion of earlier Fitbit devices I’ve had in the past, including the original Charge HR, which was quite accessible, and the Apple Watch Series 1, on which Voiceover kept turning off. I made the decision to buy a Fitbit Charge 3, but the lack of accessibility floored me. So now what do I have? Let’s find out.

After a frustrating day of working from home with a faulty Braille display, I decided to take my tech, including my 7-inch Amazon Fire tablet outside on the metal swing in our front yard. But it took a nosedive onto the concrete slab under the swing, and it had no case or screen protector. Did it survive?
