Abraham went up to Mount Moriah to sacrifice his son Isaac. Yeshua's destiny was to go up to Jerusalem to give up His life for us. Those who have accepted His atoning sacrifice and follow Him also have a call to go up to "their" Jerusalem to meet their destiny.
