Jamie and Tim practice social distancing and return with an episode about Saves the Day's seminal 2001 record Stay What You Are. They compliment Chris Conley's lyrical approach, wonder why today's teens aren't as into Saves the Day, and shout out puzzles. Also, Jamie continues her gentle speculation about Chris Conley's sexuality and what it'd be like to date him.

Jamie returns with special guest Josh to discuss The Weakerthans' second record. John K. Samson is a great lyricist whose words resonate more with each passing year.

Tim and fellow emo aficionado Jonah Ko (both of whom are DJs at MIT's radio station WMBR) discuss the first Good Luck record while wondering if people can become more noble, considerate, and loving just by listening to it. nm esc (best friend and best writer tbh) & jamie discuss brand new's classic album "deja entendu". recorded way before we learned jesse lacey was a total Creep and Predator, so that totally sucks. we do discuss heavy things in this podcast relating to power dynamics and abuse and assault, because jesse obv wrote about things he knew. this is a hard one to look back on and i feel sad/angry that i had to let go of my favorite emo band. fuck scene boys.
