Let's play a little game called "Worth It or Not Worth It." Look at the costs of the things below and ask yourself if you are willing to pay the price. Here we go:

-Paying $40 a month for a gym membership - worth it or not worth it?

-Paying $4.99 for a gallon of gasoline - worth it or not worth it?

-Experiencing the financial and emotional burden of traveling to see your family for the holidays - worth it or not worth it?

-Putting the time and energy into being part of a church family . . . hold it, before you answer this one, keep reading.

This weekend at CrossWalk Church, we're starting a new message series entitled "Worth It." Throughout this series we're going to learn to see people through God's eyes.

To answer the question, "Is it worth it to be part of a church family?" it can be helpful to understand how God sees you. Jesus used stories about lost coins and sheep and other valuable things to remind us that we are valued by him. The ultimate expression of the great value he puts on each and every one of us was shown by giving his life for us on the cross. This type of love is life changing.
