I have my three older boys joining me today, and we talk about how each of them is at a different stage of learning. One is already a strong reader, one is learning to read, and one is learning his letters and how to spell his name. Everyone is learning something different, and that's exactly how it is supposed to be!

We'll talk about how this applies not only to learning new skills, but also to learning about Jesus Christ and the gospel. We don't have to know everything all at once. We can learn a little today, a little tomorrow, and keep growing closer to Him.

In today’s Seek HIM First episode, kids will explore Isaiah 29 and learn about the Restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the coming forth of the Book of Mormon. Isaiah saw something amazing that would happen hundreds of years in the future, and today, we get to be part of that marvelous story!

We’ll play a fun “Marvelous or Not Marvelous?” game, test our knowledge with trivia, and discover how we can look for the marvelous things Heavenly Father is doing in our lives.

What do we do when we don't know what happens next?

In today's Seek HIM First episode, we're learning from Isaiah 13–14 about trusting Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, even when we can't see how our story is going to turn out.

We'll hear a fun story about a boy named Oliver who loses his favorite ball and discovers a mysterious noise coming from the garage! Along the way, we'll learn that just like we don't know how every story will end, we don't know every page of our own story either. But Heavenly Father does.

Isaiah 14:24 teaches us that the Lord's purposes will come to pass, and Isaiah 14:3 gives us the beautiful promise that the Lord can give us “rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear.”
