Everyone begins a new year hoping it will be a good one. In fact, everyone hopes the coming year will be their best year yet. What can we do to make the coming year our best year yet. Today we explore Jesus’ teaching on what it takes to live a great life: the key, he says, is to “seek God first”.

Questions to reflect on and discuss from this message:

1. What dreams, hopes or resolutions do you have for the new year?

2. Matt talked about recognising God as the centre of all life. How does this idea affect the way you think about life?

3. How could your life change this year if you recognised God as central (or more central) in your life?
