“Many false teachers have gone out into the world” (1 John 4:1) Be alert not to swallow false teaching. They are inspirational but they do not function by means of the power of the Holy Spirit. You have only so much time in this life and that’s why it’s so important to redeem the time wisely. The Holy Spirit is your guide, mentor, a tutor and will lead you into truth. Truth is what we need because Satan will flee from the truth. “Submit therefore to God and resist the devil and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). The only way you’re going to get truth in your soul is to have a hunger to learn it; listen to it being taught; and swallow it, using your volition to believe it and apply it into your life.
