BY GRACE WE ARE SAVED. IT IS GOD'S GIFT TO YOU AND ME. WE DO NOT DESERVE IT, BUT GOD'S LOVE TOWARDS US IS SO GREAT THAT HE GIVES IT TO US ANYWAY. 

FORGIVENESS DOES NOT GUARANTEE CHANGE IN THE OTHER PERSONS BEHAVIOR. FORGIVENESS IS AN ACT OF OBEDIENCE, NOT A TOOL OF MANIPULATION. IT IS A WAY OF CLEANING UP THE GRUDGES AND RESENTMENTS THAT DAMAGES US.
