I haven't made an episode in a while, but I cannot remain silent on the racial inequality in our country. We must work to improve the racial inequality that systemically pervades our society.

This week we will discuss morality. We will look at the three main moral systems: deontology, consequentialism, and virtue ethics. We will also see how these can be seen in popular culture through the Avengers movies.
Thanksgiving is this week so it is only fitting that we discuss thankfulness. In this episode, we will consider the nature of thankfulness as well as its connection to optimism. We will also discuss the difference between being "thankful for" and "thankful to."
Seeing as 13 is typically regarded as an unlucky number, I figured we might as well take this week to discuss fate, luck, and free will. We will discuss Voltaire and Tolstoy's arguments against free will and the implications of these.
An essential question that we deal with is: What does it mean to be human? This week, we will look at this question and seek to answer it partially by looking at the states of nature described by Hobbes, Locke, and Rousseau.
Peace and rest are essential to living well. This week, we will discussion the relationship between peace, calm, and quiet as we seek to find a more restful life.
