I feel you from my soul. I feel you in the field. I feel you in the quiet spaces between my breaths, in the softening of my body when I imagine your presence near mine.

I pressed record.

This is Session 007 of Hit Record with Psychic Songbird — and it’s exactly what it sounds like:

Raw rehearsal.No polish.No studio gloss.No perfection.

Just me practicing the songs I wrote on Suno (currently available with AI voice versions), working toward the day they are professionally recorded in my own voice.

In this session, you’ll hear:

Because that’s what rehearsal is.

And yes — I cringed listening back before uploading at how off-key I sang at the end of “You Wanna Marry Me?” 😆 But that’s part of this. This is the real process.

This is the beginning of something I’ve never done before — allowing you inside the evolution.

A bold declaration.A clock-is-ticking love song.A “don’t hesitate” anthem.A soul-made-true moment.

💎 “Fine Shy Diamond”

There’s a story behind this one.

I was writing these songs on Maui while staying with friends of mine, Ken & Fran. Ken said something to this effect:

“You know, Lana, you might be missing out on a diamond if you expect him to approach you in a certain way. What if he’s shy?”

That’s how Fine Shy Diamond was born.

💍 “You Wanna Marry Me?”

And then… the evolution.

I took a lyric from the previous song and turned it into something entirely new.This one makes me want to dance.

“You wanna marry me?Did you say you wanna marry me?Well, I wanna marry you too.Why wait? Let’s not hesitate.Let’s do this, baby.”

At the end of this session, I also sing the song again accapella from the beginning through a short section — just voice, just feeling.

This is me writing my love story in real time — through song.

Instead of waiting for the “perfect” finished album, I’m inviting you into the evolution.
