Recently over lunch, a friend and I talked about a smattering of topics, but this is where it started. How & when did she become interested in learning about the Holocaust? We soon veer off into likely reasons why the Nazis followed Hitler, why German citizens may have turned a blind eye, and what we would do or how we might respond to a similar scenario, today.

Why can I excuse or make room for some lies, but others I have little or zero tolerance for? Is it their purpose? Who they're designed to affect? I ponder these questions and more by way of looking at a couple of real life scenarios.

Most large cities were originally designed around the car (Roads, parking, etc.), and not with a central focus on people. What would be different if a city was people-centrically designed?

Human Ubers. They're probably not what you're thinking. • The idea has been around for some time, but now the technology exists and is being used. Instead of using a robot of some kind, a surrogate wears an augmented reality headset with your face on an iPad-like screen. So, everyone they meet sees and hears you. Would you use a Human Uber aka ChameleonMask? Would you have any difficulties interacting with a Human Uber over the individual, themselves? What are the benefits or drawbacks to such technology?

If art informs art, can we not say ideas inform ideas? Okay, but when is this the process that's happening, and when is an idea/thought being plagiarized? This conversation covers many facets.
