In attempting to deviate in how I see and think, I've been making a concerted effort to identify and evaluate my assumptions. It's a work in progress to complexify them, and likely one I will continue to rinse/repeat throughout my life. Or at least, that's my plan. In real life, we have some amount of room for exploration and self-discovery. We can physically move in and out of social groups, situations, etc., and broaden our horizons as we learn and course correct. Is the same entirely true of our online experience? Does it matter?

Is there a good or not so great way of asking "why?" Or put another way, should we consider formulating better questions? If so, why? If we determine there is value in this, where and how do we begin? Via healthy doubt and challenging our assumptions.

The calls and conversation continued to flow, and I wasn't about to stifle it. We skim across the surface of metaphysics when discussing not being able to act in the moment. Then, touch on neuroscience and consciousness as an either/or? Or both?

Trying to tell friends or strangers about Anchor.fm and why they might be interested in getting involved can be challenging. So, I attempted to cover and express the highlights in familiar ways. The idea of free will or fate/predestination/determinism is something we sometimes consider, but ideas like fate are concepts/forces that we presume exist outside us.
