Raffa struggled to find his way in school and decided to drop out and become a Blackjack dealer. While working, he made a conscious decision to start investing in real estate which he believed to be the means to reach financial freedom. A lot of what is holding people back from investing in real estate is the memories of the market bubble of 2008 where prices of properties fell to historic lows. Shawn is a serial entrepreneur, having been involved in several successful businesses, but his true passion has always been teaching. He has taught at Franklin Pierce University, The New Hampshire Police Academy, and is a PADI Dive Instructor. Shawn splits his time between New Hampshire and Aruba, with his wife Staci, and is the father of 3 adult children. Presently as the CEO of his next venture, Encore Strategic Consulting, Shawn teaches business owners how to achieve higher profits, grow their businesses, and prepare for exit. Shawn holds an MBA from Louisiana State University.
