نلتقي مع حسام عبود، الناشط السياسي السوري ورائد الأعمال، الذي يشاركنا رحلته منذ بدايات الحراك الثوري وما قبله، مروراً بمرحلة الإعتقالات في سجن صيدنايا وتهريبه قبل أن يتم اعتقاله شخصياً. حالياً، يعمل حسام على تنشيط الاقتصاد السوري من خلال منصة "خطوات صناعة و بناء" ( خصب )، حيث يدعو رواد الأعمال السوريين في الخارج لزيارة دمشق لمدة شهر وتجربة العمل فيها، بهدف جذب الاستثمارات وإعادة إحياء الاقتصاد في سوريا الجديدة، في حلقة مليئة بالذكريات و القصص الملهمة و التحديات.

We got to know the brilliant chef, Mohammed Chabchoul, the current head chef at the Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai and one of the most famous academics on social media. He told us about his long journey that began at the Hotel College in Damascus and its most prominent hotels, where he trained and was exposed to harsh experiences. He then worked on developing his abilities at all levels until he was given a suitable opportunity in Dubai and continued his academic journey until he reached prestigious positions. He also shared with us many insights into the profession, secrets and professionalism of hotels, preparing meals and menus, which clarifies the differences between social media chefs and Professionals. He then expressed his opinion on the international cooking programs that he was invited to many of and participated in some of them, in a journey full of challenges and ambition.

• We had a heart-to-heart with the angelic-voiced singer Carmen Tockmaji, where she confided in the secrets of her heart for the first time, from her shy beginnings to her brilliance with the creative Eyad Rimawi in many of the most famous series’ theme songs (Al-Nadam, Al-Batal... and many others), all the way to releasing her own songs that speak to the human conscience in general and the Syrian in particular. She also told us about all her musical activities, from training vocals and others, in addition to activities related to children and the Arabic language. we laughed our hearts out with the Syrian comedian from Homs, Badih Al-Bawab. He told us a myriad of jokes and true stories that happened to him. He also explained how he built his comedic personality on social media, alongside his work as an architect in real estate marketing in Dubai. He also imitated many Syrian and other dialects, and shared with us many secrets of Homs society, including the story of the historical dispute between Homs and Hama regarding halawat al-jibn (the sweetest halva in Arabic), and other disputes that never went beyond the bounds of humor and endearing sarcasm.

Sports coach Mahmoud Al Khatib, who was subjected to a type of bullying in his youth because of his skin color in Syria, told us about the secrets of his career and how he built Get Active Sports Academy in the United Arab Emirates after a long and diverse experience, and how he distinguished himself in this field by incorporating psychology and education into the practice of sports and training for children, adolescent patients, and adults alike. He also told us how he combined sports, tourism, and educational trips together in a unique experience to add more richness, diversity, and development to all components of the mental and physical personality, to help young people and parents in the process of building a successful and healthy personality, in addition to aspects of psychological health and happiness. Coach Mahmoud also gave very profound advice and messages in this regard so that we can learn about sports from a completely different perspective.
