Our founder and CEO, Sheila Ellis-Glasper, had the distinct honor to interview Mr. Kevin D. Richardson, one-fifth of the Central Park 5 now Exonerated 5, as the moderator for Kansas State University’s Black Student Union’s Black History Month Keynote event.
For those of you who might know his story, and for some of you who may not , he actually had his story portrayed on Netflix in the mini-series “When They See Us” just last year. This film has won awards and it's definitely caused a lot of conversations all over the world.
So, we're going to do things a little bit differently for this episode, and we are going to playback that interview and we hope that you're inspired and empowered by the message of strength and perseverance that Mr. Richardson has to share with us.
