Ramaḍān Reminders 1447H: Selected Aḥādīth on Ramaḍān and Fasting, a pre-Ramaḍān study of aḥādīth and rulings of fasting, with benefits from Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān (hafidhahullāh), taught by Ustādh Abdul Hakeem Mitchell (hafidhahullāh)
• Ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah: "Whoever does not leave false speech, acting upon it and ignorance, Allāh has no need of him leaving his food and drink" (al-Bukhārī, Abū Dāwūd)
• The meaning of ignorance (jahl) here: opposing guidance, not ignorance that is excused
• The expiation for intercourse during a day of Ramaḍān: freeing a slave, fasting two consecutive months or feeding sixty poor people
• The one truly unable to do any of these
• Making up the missed day, the expiation and the six days of Shawwāl
• When a legitimate excuse such as illness ends during the day, and the one who breaks the fast without an excuse
