Tonight’s conversation focused on the importance of self-advocating for our health. As survivors, we discussed how speaking up for ourselves not only protects our own well-being but also helps us advocate for other women who may not yet have the strength or knowledge to do so.
The discussion opened the door to a very honest exchange about side effects from medications that many of us have experienced but are not listed on drug labels. These shared stories reminded us that survivorship often carries realities that medical science has yet to fully recognize.
We were also joined by a new participant, Joi, who brought such a warm and delightful presence to the conversation.
Moments like these remind us that our voices matter, our experiences matter, and when we speak openly, we help other women feel less alone.
