What can a morning walk with a dog teach us about life?
While walking Mocha this morning, I found myself watching the wild geese, swans, and ducks that share a pond near my home. Although they are different in size, appearance, and behavior, they continue to share the same space.
That simple observation led me to ask a much deeper question:
Why do we, as human beings, struggle to live peacefully with one another?
In this episode of The Unexpected Detour, I reflect on the lessons nature can teach us about respect, unity, and living together despite our differences. Through a quiet morning walk and the timeless wisdom of Romans 12:18, we explore how peace begins—not with everyone else—but with each of us.
Whether our differences are rooted in culture, ethnicity, religion, or personal beliefs, perhaps God is inviting us to choose understanding over judgment and grace over division.
