trauma generates emotions and they become stuck in our mind and body. instead of healing from the wound, the trauma stays in our body as energy in our unconscious, affecting our life until we uncover it and process it out. the healthy flow and processing of distressing emotions is essential to healing from childhood trauma as an adult.

it can feel challenging as an adult to deepen platonic bonds, that’s why my potcast is here. many situations in adolescence and young adulthood not only introduce us to lots of new people, but also present repeated opportunities to continue seeing those people and building intimacy.
