Self Care is absolutely necessary.  Self care  is important as it's healthy for the mind, body and soul.  Self care is having a high regard for your own well-being and happiness.  Self care is the things you do for your self. While Self Work  is an attitude towards oneself.  Self work is proactive and less reactive. They are  both related to one another as they go hand in hand. 

Self work requires

  •  Reflection, 
  • Action planning, 
  • Do 

 
Self care activities 

  • Read a book or magazine 
  • Sit in the Sun
  • Take a bubble bath - complete with candles and calming music
  • Take a leisurely walk without a goal
  • Engage in reflective practices like meditation
  • Go to church/mosque/temple
  • Do yoga 
  • Reflect with a close friend for 

    Take care of yourself,  love yourself,  be kind and be gentle with yourself.
