Shelly Tygielski is the author of the new book, “Sit Down To Rise Up: How Radical Self-Care Can Change The World”.
Her work is built around the idea that there should be No Barrier To Entry in the mindfulness and meditation space. She wants everyone to have access, not just those with means.
Shelly launched the “Pandemic of Love Movement” in March 2020 as a way of helping people face the challenging moment of a global crisis by matching families in need directly with donors.
Shelly combines a pragmatic worldview with the tenets of mediation and mindfulness in working to make the world a better place. She is certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and has led retreats for the survivors and families of victims of violence.
Her series of workshops with recorded books, available on Audible, including a series on “Self-Care for Turbulent Times.”
