Hello angels and welcome back. This week we finally have some new recommendations for you, including 'An American Marriage' by Tayari Jones and New Girl on Netflix (warning: minor season 4 spoiler alert). Another super exciting announcement this week is Niamh's double feature in SLAMinutes' 'Mental Health Through The Pandemic', the poetry anthology that featured 100 writers and donated all proceeds to Mind Charity. If you're not following her already, check out @poetrybyniamh to read her incredible (and now published!!!) work. Charlotte's less credible but nonetheless charitable donation to the cause this week was a charity shop vintage jumper she purchased which just so happened to be from Mind. Then it's onto this week's topic of self-doubt and how it often coincides with our perception of failure as a society. Why is it that we've blurred the line between arrogance and self-confidence? Why is it that we feel the need to put ourselves down to avoid anyone getting there first? We talk about the doubts and fears we had before starting the podcast, but why putting ourselves out there and doing it anyway wins every time.
Please review, subscribe, and share, and follow us on Instagram @housewineandwellness for updates and we''ll see you same time next week. <3
