Personal development is an essential tool for everyone and this is especially true for millennials. We're at a fantastic age where we know a lot but we also have to keep up with learning so many new things.
The idea of constantly having to learn or improve yourself may seem daunting but in this episode, I'm sharing 3 super easy, super affordable ways for personal development, they are.
1. By reading a book - self-improvement really doesn't get easier than this. By making time to read as little as 10 minutes a day you can change the way your brain functions.
2. Join a social / networking group - I joined Toastmasters International in 2019 to help improve my speaking skills for this podcast. It has been amazing with helping me prepare speeches and meeting some new cool people. As millennials, I believe we are just the right age to try new things
3. Practice gratitude and forgiveness - this tip may seem a little unorthodox but it's so effective. Gratitude has an amazing capacity to transform any situation for the better. So being grateful for your life is an instant upgrade. As for forgiveness, well at our age there are many reasons to be upset at others and ourselves, learning how to forgive improves our relationships and enhances opportunities for growth and development. Win-win.
