Keeping in line with our last couple of episodes, this week we explore a personal journey of body image and acceptance. Susan Southerland-Mifsud joins us today to talk about her journey of self love and the challenges of losing weight. Susan is the mother of Ryan's girlfriend, Larisa, as well as a wedding planner who gets to see first hand the types of ideals that people want to portray in terms of their image.

Susan shares with us the sometimes difficult perspective of being plus sized in a world that devalues anyone that doesn't look like the ideal. She recounts her time as a model and how that affected her, as well as how raising children and continuing to run her business influences many of her decisions now. We hope others can appreciate her story and take from it the same sense of pride that she wears herself.
